Latest deal...to train 20 pilots

Airways Aviation wins Royal Oman Police Force deal

DUBAI, November 27, 2014

Airways Aviation, a leading pilot training school, has won a contract to train pilots for the Royal Oman Police Force.

The school has been training the Royal Oman Police Force aeroplane and helicopter pilots from zero experience through to full commercially rated pilots at both VFR and IFR levels for a number of years, said a statement.

This latest deal will see a further 20 pilots undertaking ATPL studies at the Airways Aviation's facility on the Gold Coast in Australia, it said.

Yuseph Hawatt, Mena business development manager, said: ”There is an increasing need for governments and corporations in the region to provide higher levels of training and quality for their personnel generally and aviation related services in particular.

“Airways Aviation are very pleased to have again been selected to continue to provide training services to the Royal Oman Police Force.” - TradeArabia News Service
