BIBF launches diploma in digital marketing

MANAMA, December 12, 2014

Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF) has launched a communication advertising and marketing (CAM) diploma in digital marketing, awarded by the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM).

CIM is the largest marketing organisation in the world, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.

Scheduled to start on January 25 next year, the qualification will equip participants with the essential knowledge, tools and skills to plan, implement and monitor effective digital marketing campaigns, and contribute to operational marketing.

It will consist of three units - marketing and consumer behaviour, digital marketing essentials and digital marketing planning.

Solving Nicklos, director, said: ”In today's increasingly dynamic environment, digital marketing has evolved from a peripheral element of organisational marketing to one which is at the hub of customer-focused communications.

"This digital marketing course will ensure that the participants can deal with this paradigm shift and make the most of new business opportunities on offer.”

Participants can gain insights into today's digital arena, understand the concept, purpose and trends of digital marketing, and become specialists in this rapidly growing field, she added.
