LuLu unveils 600 jobs plan for Bahrainis
MANAMA, December 21, 2014
LuLu Group, a major retail group in the region, has unveiled plans to generate 600 jobs for Bahrainis in the next two years, a report said.
The UAE-based retail major already employs more than 1,000 Bahrainis across its operations in the kingdom, reported the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
The new plans were announced during an event marking Bahrain's National Day celebrations, where LuLu Group managing director Yusuffali MA was honoured for his contribution to Bahrain's economy.
The GDN had earlier reported that the retailer would set up three more LuLu Hypermarkets - one each in Busaiteen, Juffair and Umm Al Hassam, as well as a total of 10 LuLu International Exchange branches across the country as part of its expansion plan in Bahrain. – TradeArabia News Service
