Anamil Tech Studio has launched a multilingual series of apps to cater to pre-schoolers aged two to six years called ‘Pacca Alpaca Adventures.’

The series was launched at an exclusive mother/child event themed in line with the first app to be released from Pacca Alpaca Adventures’ series ‘Pacca Alpaca Australia.’

Each app release from the series will introduce children to a new country and cultural setting while they play games and learn new words from five different languages, said a statement.

The launching event took place in The Playroom, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and was attended by the Australian Ambassador’s wife, Dianne Hawkins, 50 children, and their mothers.

The children enjoyed playing different Australian-themed educational activities inspired by the app in the different rooms of the Playroom, while their mothers enjoyed listening to an open discussion with the educational advisor Somaya Alandas’s about exposing children to technology the right way, its pros and cons and the benefits of raising bilingual/multi lingual children.

Pacca Alpaca is the brainchild of Anamil Tech Founder, Dr Sarah Faisal Al Saud who holds a PhD in human-computer interaction.

“My children were born in the UK and I wanted an app that supported language learning in my mother tongue Arabic. I launched Anamil Tech to develop such apps which provide a great resource for parents wanting to introduce their children to languages and different cultures at a young age and help them be respectful and celebratory of them,” she said.

Pacca Alpaca - Australia is a new multilingual app, which encourages children to learn new languages and inspires them to become culturally aware as they embark on an Australian adventure with a cheeky and fun loving Alpaca called Pacca.

Pacca’s adventure unfolds from his home in the Andes Mountains when he spots a new destination from afar and flies off in his magical carousel to investigate. When he lands with a bump in Australia a local host greets him and together they explore the country.

Along the way they play games and learn about shapes, colours and numbers, earn rewards and have the chance to learn new words in a chosen language from Arabic, French, Spanish, Mandarin or English.  

Pacca Alpaca fans will also have access to e-books which support the adventure apps and tell charming stories based on each cultural destination, mini apps with fun interactive activities that extend learning from the adventure apps, and a comprehensive website hub that will provide support materials, downloadable activities and loads more to thrill children and parents too. - TradeArabia News Service
