AMG launches trainme centre in Bahrain

Albayan Media Group (AMG) has launched the trainme Training Center in Bahrain, a professional training institute which underscores the need to boost facilities for media and marketing training in the region.  

Trainme meets the benchmark standard of international bodies, through programmes which promote learning, business development and professional ethical responsibility, administered by qualified facilitators, said a statement.

It is a subsidiary of AMG, a multimedia company with extensive  experience in media production, marketing and advertising, including organization of events, conferences and exhibitions.

A Hamid Alasfoor, chairman of trainme and chief executive officer, said: “The establishment of trainme underlines the importance of developing high levels of expertise through mentoring, in the context of a national development strategy.

“The centre offers one of the most attractive options for specialized skills and professional training for employees in the government and private sectors throughout the region, especially in the field of media and marketing.”

The programmes of study at trainme include marketing, public relations, retail, call centre, sales and customer service, event management, communication, leadership and management, and media which includes film production and graphic design.

“Trainme offers leading-edge solutions towards professional development, in coordination with internationally accredited professional training and business development centres in US, UK and the region,” Alasfoor said.

The centre boasts of international certification from Principled Consulting, London and Interchange, UK, with strategic local and international partners such as Silah, Master Retailing, Hermann International, Miradorus and Tamkeen Bahrain.

Trainme’s methodologies address the day-to-day core operations of many blue chip companies which have served as models of success for others, in activities such as:  group debriefs and exercises, behaviour modelling, case studies, business simulation workshops, coaching sessions, focus groups, individual and group projects, and implementation and action plans.

“The programmes and resources are designed to drive performance that will yield the best results for the individual in terms of employment opportunities,” said Alasfoor.

Customised in-house or private training programs are also available for companies or individuals facing business challenges with translation-interpretation services as well as language options in Arabic, French, German, Spanish and Hindi.

Meanwhile, trainee is set to host the Bahrain Nationalism Conference and Workshop on February 10 and 11.

It will be the first conference that will stress the role of citizens as employees, in contributing towards the development of the nation’s economy through social and professional development ethics, with international keynote specialists John Burbidge and Peter N. Lewis.

The centre is also slated to hold a full lineup of conferences and workshops in venues in Bahrain and the region.
