MANAMA, May 28, 2015

Bahrain’s leading telecommunications solutions provider Batelco continues its support for the Crown Prince International Scholarship Programme (CPISP), as part of its commitment to educational initiatives in the kingdom.

In 2013, Batelco renewed its platinum sponsorship of the programme, pledging a total of BD1 million ($2.6 million) over five years, and recently handed over a cheque to the value of BD200,000 as its contribution for this year.

Muna Al Hashemi, acting chief executive officer, said that Batelco was delighted to be involved with the CPISP which provides top international educational, training, and cultural opportunities for outstanding Bahraini students.

“Since the formation of the CPISP in 2006, Batelco has been a major supporter of the programme’s objectives and has donated significant funds to assist with its success.”
