Bahraini youth skills' boost ‘key to driving development’

MANAMA, May 29, 2015

Bolstering youngsters' skills is a key to driving forward Bahrain's workforce and development, said the Crown Prince yesterday (May 28).

They must be allowed to capitalise on opportunities to improve their leadership and analytical qualities, he said, reported the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, made his remarks while meeting successful candidates of the First Deputy Prime Minister's fellowship programme at Gudaibiya Palace.

The rising number of applications for the fellowship reflects the commitment of Bahrain's youngsters to tap into opportunities for their development, he said.

The Crown Prince hoped that the fellowship will contribute to increasing the proficiency of the nation's workforce by improving leadership and analytical skills.

He also hoped it will be at the forefront of the government's development programmes.

The opportunity will enhance the performances of the candidates once they return to their posts after completing their training.

The fellows praised the Crown Prince's commitment to develop national workforce through his support for training programmes. - TradeArabia News Service
