Pearson launches new Middle East website

DUBAI, September 28, 2015

Pearson, a leading global learning company, has announced the launch of a brand new website for the Middle East region.

The new website showcases the extent of Pearson’s education offering in the Middle East, covering schools, higher education, vocational and technical education, professional development for educators and English language teaching and learning.

Karim Daoud, managing director of Pearson Middle East, said the new website has been launched to make it easier for education stakeholders in the Middle East to access information about Pearson’s extensive education portfolio.

“Pearson works with learners, educators and governments across the region to deliver learning solutions that can make a real impact on the lives of those that use them. This new website has been designed for all Pearson stakeholders to be able to access the information they need quickly and simply, and to understand how they can work with Pearson to promote effective teaching and learning across all education levels."

The website provides details of the large-scale education projects the company has undertaken in the Middle East over recent years, including its collaboration with institutions such as Taibah University and Princess Noura University to deliver state-of-the-art digital education tools to educators and learners en-masse. Pearson has also collaborated with Middle East governments to rollout education reform programmes, which are detailed on the website. Such programmes include the Saudi Arabic T4Edu Math and Science Teacher Development Programme and the UAE School Leadership Programme.

Nassim Ershaed, Pearson’s regional director for the Arabian Gulf and Levant, said the website will help those tasked with improving education in the region gain the information they need to make a positive impact on learners at an individual or nation-wide level.  - TradeArabia News Service
