Kuwait 'to remove expats from govt jobs in 5 years'
KUWAIT, September 9, 2017
Kuwait is set to gradually replace all the expatriate employees from the government departments within the next five years under its new nationalisation policy, said a report.
The government wil soon start implementing the new policy under which experienced Kuwaitis will train the fresh graduates, reported Arab Times, citing senior sources.
All administrative jobs particularly those related to information and public relations will be reserved for Kuwaitis in all ministries, government agencies and institutions, stated the sources.
Various ministries, government institutions and agencies are already under the radar. However, departments where the employees are in excess will face the axe first, they added.
