UAE tops global rankings in job satisfaction

DUBAI, May 5, 2018

The UAE has the highest percentage of employees satisfied with their jobs, according to a recent survey released by Gallup World Poll, said a report.
 
The survey, which covered over 1,000 people in each of 128 countries, found that the three nations with the highest percentage of employees satisfied with their jobs, were UAE, Russia, and US, reported state news agency Wam.
 
In UAE, the lowest percentage, 31 per cent, were seeking full-time employment but not in full-time employment. Nearly 58 per cent of citizens who were full-time employed rated their jobs as "Good," while 12 per cent rated them as "Great."
 
Russia had 51 per cent seeking but not having full-time work; 35 per cent who had full-time work rated their jobs as "Good"; and 13 per cent had "Great" jobs, said the report.
 
US had 56 per cent seeking but not havng full-time work, 32 per cent with "Good" jobs, and 13 per cent with "Great" jobs, it stated.
 
The other nations with the highest jobs-satisfaction were Kazakhstan, Singapore, and Panama, with 11 per cent in each having "Great" jobs; Estonia, Mongolia, and Uruguay, with 10 per cent; and Colombia, Canada, Philippines, and Mauritius, with 9 per cent, it added.
