SAE unveils new study programmes in creative media

DUBAI, December 9, 2019

SAE, a global leading educator in creative media industries, has introduced new study programmes for students and working professionals in the UAE interested in pursuing an education in creative media.

SAE Dubai has collaborated with its other campuses in the UK to offer university pathway programmes for current students who would like to complete their studies in the United Kingdom with an internationally recognized UK degree.

Under this partnership, existing SAE Dubai students will be guaranteed the opportunity to continue their second year of education in any affiliated SAE campuses in London, Oxford or Liverpool. Students who opt in for this programme will be provided with a two-year employment visa upon graduation to help kick-off their career with one of the hundreds of SAE’s industry partners across the UK.

In addition, SAE Dubai is offering both current and new students a unique financial plan that will allow students to graduate with a degree within three years while allowing them to pay their tuition over five years, with monthly instalments as low as Dh3,275 ($892).

Christina Kallas, head of Enrolments & Outreach at SAE Dubai said: “At SAE, we are committed to offering accessible, real-world education to both students and now working professionals to help them master the complex demands of life. Today’s announcement allows learners to earn their accredited degree in creative media with accelerated speed and convenience, at an affordable option.”

Working professionals also benefit from SAE’s new study programme. Those looking to upskill their careers in creative media industries will also be provided with the option to make their dream course a reality with the introduction of SAE’s part-time degree.

At SAE, working professionals will have the freedom to customize their timetable to fit their studies around other commitments. Supported by flexible payment plans, recognition of prior learning and experience as credit towards their future degrees will also be available for learners.

Constant upskilling is the new normal for anyone hoping to stay relevant in the modern highly competitive marketplace. A recent WEF report suggests that by 2022, 54 percent of the total workforce in an organization will require significant reskilling and upskilling to stay competitive.

“Drawing on the concept of career growth and reskilling, we are extremely happy to provide working professionals with flexible educational formats, from evening scheduling to personalized intensive study schedules,” Kallas added.

“We understand that for many of our students, university is one of many commitments. Whether they are balancing work, family or life in general, many of our study programmes can be tailored to fit around learner’s schedule. With the launch of our new part-time degree, working professionals now have the opportunity to upskill and graduate with an Australian degree while they work.”

Established in 2005, SAE Dubai offers Tertiary Education and Quality Standards Agency (TEQSA) accredited Bachelor’s Degrees across five disciplines - Animation, Audio, Design, Film and Games, in addition to short course certificates. – TradeArabia News Service
