ICEE drink launched in Bahrain
Manama

A flavoured carbonated and frozen beverage "ICEE" has been launched in Bahrain for the first time.

The "ICEE" drink, a product of the ICEE Company, was invented by Omar Knedlick, who founded the Dairy Queen franchise in 1950. It is a division of Ontario, California-based J&J Snack Foods Corporation.

The Middle East distribution of the drink is being handled by Fareed Al Moayyed Global Holding, which has set up the ICEE Vending Company in Bahrain for the purpose.

The company has now also established an infrastructure and the related network for placement of frozen carbonated beverage, distribution of the beverage inputs like syrup and packing material such as cups, lids and straws.-TradeArabia News Service
