A 15-day culinary festival has opened in Abu Dhabi with visiting masterchefs and hosting establishment chefs giving hundreds of guests a taste of masterful creations to come.

Gourmet Abu Dhabi 2010 was launched yesterday (January 6) by Sheikh Sultan Bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, chairman, Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority on the grounds of the iconic Yas Hotel.

Guests were then able to sample an extensive range of food – much of it with fusion twists – laid on by the hotels from throughout Abu Dhabi city who are hosting the festival’s cast of masterchefs who share 25 Michelin stars between them. – TradeArabia News Service
