Beautyworld ME to feature global brands

Cosmetics and fragrance manufacturers from around the world are expected to take part in the Beautyworld Middle East.

The event, to be held at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre from May 18 to 20, will showcase premium natural and organic skin care products, clinics on skin care basics, skin care tips and other information to help professionals.

“Skin care products form the second largest segment in the cosmetics and toiletries industry, after hair care products and the global skin care products industry is experiencing exponential growth, driven by the increased consumer demand for anti-aging, skin whitening, other medicated range of creams, lotions and cleansers,“ said  CEO of Epoc Messe Frankfurt, organisers of Beautyworld Middle East, Eckhard Pruy.

Pollution, aging and an increasing awareness about skin care are key factors stimulating industry growth. Increasing attention to personal appearance and the emphasis on personal grooming constitutes a major factor driving sales in the worldwide skin care products market.

While women constitute a major category for manufacturers of skin care products, there is a significantly higher uptake of skin care products among male consumers than in the past.

"It is safe to say that the skin care market has made a transition from the traditional skin treatment regime to incorporate sophisticated products for cleansing and sun protection," said senior show manager of Beautyworld Middle East Andrea Werner.

Mades Cosmetics,a succesfull company based in Netherlands, will be introducing its 2008 collection on skin care, body care, bath care and hair care products. Inspired by upcoming trends they have introduced differenct ranges: fruitastic, upperclass, stackable body care, and pure flower.

In addition to these ranges they will introduce their new gift series, called Memories, La Plus Belle, and many more.

Another prominient exhibitor OFI Spa, one of Europe’s leading creators and producers of skin-cosmetics and dietary food supplements, is bringing it active experience of over 60 years to the Middle East. Its products  are wholly in tune with the market, satisfying the innermost needs of the end user within the delicate world of personal care, appearance and health.

Highlights of this year’s Beautyworld Middle East and Wellness and Spas exhibition area is a fashion show and competitions that are much anticipated by regular visitors to the show.

The Beautyworld make-up competition in 2008 will be brought to you by Visign & Visign Pro. The competitions will take place under two categories - Fantasy Make-up and Glamour Make-up, and will be judged by an international judging panel.

Walk of Beauty by Kadus is the beauty and fashion event to showcase the very best that the region has to offer. This area of the exhibition received wide support last year. This event provided a platform for not only the leaders in their respective fields to show case their talents, but also of the emerging talent within the region.

Beautyworld Middle East, which runs alongside Wellness and Spas, is the region’s most popular cosmetic and personal care exhibition, now in its 13th year. It will host 850 exhibitors representing 1,650 brands from 50 countries. - TradeArabia News Service
