GMC Hospital set to host health carnival

GMC Hospital, an integral part of Gulf Medical University, is conducting its first ever annual health carnival for good health in the interest of the local community.

The first GMC Hospital Health Festival will run from June 21 to July 21 at its facilities including hospitals and medical centres in Ajman, Fujairah, Dubai and Malawi.

Free consultation is offered in departments such as dental, urology, family medicine, cardiology, psychiatry, surgery, dermatology, ophthalmology, ENT and gynaecology, while discounts may be availed on laboratory and radiology services.

The carnival also gives away a free Gold card to babies born during the month.

Visitors may also get discounts on several department services like extraction, filling, bleaching of teeth, echo cardiology, tread mill test, vision test, laser hair removal, wrinkle treatment, CT scan, bone mineral densitometry, mammography and several other surgeries.

Free information on breast cancer, cervical cancer, swine flu and diabetes will be given on designated days. The festival will also feature several blood donation camps.

Festival packages offered during the month include executive health check up, cardiac health check up, diabetic health check up, basic health check up, employment health check up and well-women check up.

More than 50,000 people are expected to benefit from the host of free consultation and discounted services during the health carnival. – TradeArabia News Service
