T’azur in partnership deal with IHB
Manama, October 19, 2009
T’azur has announced an exclusive partnership agreement with the International Hospital of Bahrain (IHB), making it the only Bahrain-based insurance company to work with the IHB on a direct billing system.
T' azur, an Islamic insurance company founded by Unicorn Investment Bank with headquarters in Bahrain, said both the companies continuously seek to deliver superior quality service.
“Working in partnership with a quality insurance provider such as t’azur ensures quality healthcare to all our patients. Advancing the care of my patients remains my only goal”, IHB president and CEO Dr Faysal Saeed Zeerah said.
'T’azur is the exclusive local insurance company in Bahrain with direct settlement at the IHB. Payment is handled by the network rather than being paid by the patient and reimbursed directly to the hospital.'
According to Zeerah, T’azur clients will have direct access to Bahrain’s premier private hospital through this partnership.
'A digital ‘fast track’ service is available for t’azur clients. The client only needs to give their finger imprint to confirm their appointment, thereby bypassing the usual procedures,' he noted.
Some of t’azur’s extensive benefits can include dental, optical, maternity and worldwide cover.
Dr Abdulaziz Bin Naif Al Orayer, chairman of the Board of t’azur, said, “We are committed to providing the best possible coverage for our Plan Owners. For this reason we work with all premier medical providers. We look forward to a successful partnership with IHB.'
'The IHB is renowned for its outstanding clinical excellence and continues to attract world class medical professionals,' he stated.
Employers who subscribe to the t’azur Medical Insurance plans can take advantage of t’azur’s state-of-the-art software package which allows companies to manage their employee census online significantly reducing the administration overhead.
This system is provided free to employers and ensures that services are provided on a timely basis, he added.-TradeArabia News Service
