Arig in medical insurance tie-up

Arab Insurance Group (Arig) has teamed up with Lebanon-based GlobeMed to offer a range of healthcare benefits and management services in Bahrain.

A new entity, GlobeMed Bahrain, intends to fully integrate the health provider sector together with the health insurance sector creating an efficient administration structure, introducing modern quality insured patient services and achieving full transparency between different stakeholders.

'GlobeMed Bahrain will introduce a new force in the field of medical insurance claims management and customer care,' said Arig chief executive officer Yassir Albaharna.

'We are very pleased to be a part of establishing this advanced professional service capabilities in Bahrain,' he added.

'GlobeMed Bahrain is another act of commitment to serve the Bahraini market as well as the Mena region,' said GlobeMed chief executive officer, Mounir Kharma.
