Fam helps raise breast cancer awareness

Fam, Napco’s feminine hygiene brand, is spreading breast cancer awareness throughout October by sponsoring Zahra Breast Cancer Association’s campaign in Saudi Arabia.

As part of the awareness campaign, Fam and Zahra are calling women to declare their fight against breast cancer on Fam‘s Facebook fan page.

Consistent with "Fam Cares" slogan, the feminine hygiene disposables brand offers Facebook fans a chance to take an active role in the fight against breast cancer.

Collaboratively, Fam and Zahra Breast Cancer Association encourage Facebook fans to sign the declaration and confirm their responsibility to themselves, their loved ones, and their society and country to fight against breast cancer.

On Fam Facebook fan page, fans can share stories, photos, and videos about encounters with breast cancer and the importance of early detection and awareness.

During October, Fam and Zahra Breast Cancer Association will raise awareness among Saudi citizens about the disease at booths in malls across Saudi Arabia.

As part of the campaign, Fam and Zahra will also offer conferences or set up booths at universities throughout the Kingdom. The goal is to promote early breast cancer detection, increase awareness, and provide women in Saudi Arabia with all necessary information.

Napco, a leading Saudi Arabian group of manufacturing companies, has 11 plants producing consumer disposables, away-from-home products, paper and plastic flexible packaging, and corrugated packaging. The group employs over 3,000 people.
