
Tilal Liwa Hotel launches tree planting campaign

Tilal Liwa Hotel, a leisure resort situated in Rub Al Khali Desert, has launched a tree planting campaign that will involve the plantation of more than 2,000 trees around the property and community.
Led by Ayman Ashor, the general manager of the hotel, the campaign which is a part of its commitment to sustainability, is geared at raising the community’s environmental awareness along with educating students on the importance of trees to the environment and to protect our health and of the next generations.
“This environmental campaign and initiative are part of Tilal Liwa Hotel’s commitment to provide the community of Madinat Zayed, Al Gharbia with a sustainable future. I am sure our small effort will make a lasting impression in making sure that we have and will continue to have the resources to protect human health and our environment,” Ashor said. “We are planning to involve a number of community partners like schools, private and government organisations to support this activity.”
