Gulf Bank launches new health drive

Kuwait, December 29, 2013

Kuwait-based Gulf Bank, in association with Dar Al Fouad Clinic, has provided free flu shots to all its employees as part of the annual health programme.

With the flu season approaching, the bank undertook the responsibility to provide its employees with preventive measures to ensure they maintain good health.

The Dar Al Fouad Clinic specialises in dietary health and wellbeing advice and treatment.

The annual activity, along with other health initiatives, is aimed at enhancing the work environment for employees. It is in line with the bank’s recently launched ‘Health Awareness’ road show in partnership with the clinic, said the bank in a statement.

Each employee will receive a free general consultation to review sugar levels, blood pressure, weight analysis and dietary or nutritional advice where needed, as part of the year-long programme. - TradeArabia News Service
