Saudi to build $533m hospital in Jeddah

Saudi Arabia will build a SR2 billion ($533 million) comprehensive medical center with a 1,000-bed capacity in eastern Jeddah, a report said.

The kingdom’s Health Ministry has also approved a sum of SR150 million to build a specialised center for emergency injuries with a capacity of 200 beds, added the report in Arab News.

Health Minister Abdullah Al-Rabeeah also agreed the allocation of SR125 million to build five specialised medical centers, as well as SR45 million to build a dental center made up of 25 clinics in Al-Laith, according to the report.
