Top eco issues focus for Ajman global summit

Renewable energy, sustainable buildings, water technology and transportation will form the primary agenda for an upcoming global environment conference in Ajman.

The third Ajman International Environment Conference “Eco-City for Sustainable Development” will be held at Sheikh Zayed Center for Conference & Exhibition, Ajman University for Science & Technology (AUST) Campus on April 7 and 8.

The conference is expected to draw in thousands of visitors and delegates from across the world. Experts and policymakers will gather under one roof to unveil the latest eco-friendly achievements and technologies.

“The conference is a big achievement for Ajman and the UAE,” said Khalid Moeen Al Hosni - executive director of Public Health and Environment.

“The UAE has adopted a lot of the green technology discussed at previous conferences and has made significant progress over the last few years. We look forward to sharing our contributions to environmental development at the upcoming conference.”

Conference attendees can expect to hear practitioners and specialists present their findings on renewable energy technology, innovative solutions for future buildings and sustainable transport, amongst other topics. Visitors can attend dedicated sessions and workshops based on their individual preferences.

In order to enhance the conference experience further, an exhibition will run alongside, providing the exhibitors as well as the attendees with a unique opportunity to share insights with one another on the latest developments in the sector. Over 100 exhibitors are expected to be present including industrial companies, consulting engineers, government personnel and contractors.

The conference will serve as a meeting point for scientists, engineers, practitioners and policy makers to discuss breakthroughs. – TradeArabia News Service
