Spotlight on technology in health care

A conference highlighting information systems in the health sector will take place in September in Bahrain.
 
SehaTech 2014 will be held over three days starting from September 23 under the patronage of Minister of State for Defence Affairs and Supreme Council for Health chairman Lieutenant-General Dr Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
 
It is being organised by Work Smart for Events Management in collaboration with the Supreme Council for Health and Bahrain Technology Companies Society.
 
The event, which will be held at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre, is designed to provide technical solutions to obstacles faced by administrative departments in various hospitals and healthcare organisations.
 
It will feature sessions on trends and challenges of e-health along with workshops to discuss mobile health, telehealth system and cloud computing for healthcare.
 
More than 40 hospitals and medical companies from across the world will also showcase their products and services during an exhibition which will be held along side the conference. - TradeArabia News Service
