Apollo Hospitals sets up patient services office in Saudi

RIYADH, November 18, 2014

Apollo Hospitals Group-India has launched an Apollo Information Center in Saudi Arabia, in partnership with Dr Varghese Moolan of Moolans, a leading spice exporter from India to the GCC.

Speaking t the 31st anniversary celebration of Apollo Hospitals Group, Dr Prathap C Reddy, chairman, said: “Such engagements are the need of the hour and it adds to Apollo’s vision of making India the healthcare destination of the world.”

Dr Moolan, who is also the chairman of the Global Malayalee Council, donated five million Indian rupees (SR304,000/$80,996) to Apollo’s – ‘Save-a-child’s heart initiative.’

The partnership will help both the Arabs and non-resident-Indians of the GCC region especially people in Saudi Arabia, he said.

On ‘Save-a-child’s heart initiative,’ Dr Moolan mentioned that as part of Moolans’s CSR initiative, he would like to extend this advantage to deserving children in the state of Kerala too.

Apart from the engagements in Saudi Arabia, Moolans Group is also planning to have an Apollo Information Center in Angamali near to Cochin International Airport. - TradeArabia News Service
