Desalination plants produce most of the water supplied in Bahrain

Alert over water wastage in Barhain

MANAMA, September 21, 2015

A new conservation alert has gone out after it emerged that people in Bahrain use 252 litres of water a day on average. That is almost twice as much as people in Singapore, which is roughly the same size in terms of land mass, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
