DHA receives 268 ideas from smart majlis drive

DUBAI, November 1, 2015

Dubai Health Authority (DHA) has received a total of 232 ideas and 36 suggestions as part of the Mohammed bin Rashid Smart Majlis initiative.

The Majlis was launched by HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai as a medium to enable Dubai’s residents and supporters around the world to submit innovative ideas and development comments to make Dubai the smartest and fastest developing city worldwide.

Humaid Al Qatami, chairman of the board and director general of DHA recently felicitated four individuals who presented the most innovative health ideas as part of the Mohammed bin Rashid Smart Majlis.

Al Qatami hailed the initiative and said that it has given people an opportunity to directly express their feedback, suggestions and ideas across all sectors with a common vision to make Dubai the fastest growing city in the world.

He said the innovative ideas that the Authority receives will help further strengthen the heath sector in Dubai.

The awardees presented the following ideas:

•    Smart application to fasten the blood donation process.

•    Motivate employees who achieve a good fitness level by providing incentives and felicitations.

•    Make specialist hospitals for labourers in Dubai

•    Make a special unit for the treatment of cleft palate – TradeArabia News Service
