DHA facilities receive over 10,000 patients during Eid

DUBAI, July 10, 2016

The ER departments and open clinics at Dubai Health Authority (DHA) hospitals received a otal of 9,354 patients during the week-long Eid Al Fitr holiday from July 1 to July 9.

Dr Ahmad Bin Kalban, CEO of the Hospital Services Sector at DHA, also revealed that a total of 1,212 inpatients were admitted to DHA hospitals in the same period.

Bin Kalban revealed that of the 9,354 patients who visited the ER departments and open clinics, 3,913 visited Rashid Hospital, 2,919 visited Dubai Hospital, 1,519 visited Latifa Hospital and 1,003 patients visited Hatta Hospital – during the holiday period.  

Of the 1,212 inpatients admitted to DHA hospitals, 361 where admitted to Dubai Hospital, 459 to Latifa Hospital, 329 to Rashid Hospital and 63 to Hatta Hospital.

A total of 3,589 inpatients and outpatients were received by DHA hospitals during the first three days of Eid (July 6-8), out of which 356 where inpatients and 3,233 where outpatients. - TradeArabia News Service
