Grohe launches drinking water system for homes

DUBAI, August 10, 2017

Grohe has launched the Grohe Blue Home, which offers filtered water straight from a stylish kitchen faucet – always cooled to the right temperature and even with a choice of strong, medium and no carbonation.

The kit consists of a special faucet and a cooler with integrated filter and carbonator. Thanks to its compact design, this drinking water system can easily be installed in nearly any kitchen in just a few steps. Kitchen cabinets with a width of 30 cm are sufficient for installing the cooler.

The integrated filter for optimum water quality and the carbonator adding the fine bubbles can easily be exchanged from the front. Ordering fresh filters and refill cartridges takes just a few clicks in the Grohe Blue Online Shop – everything needed is supplied straight to the customer’s door.

Grohe Blue Home supports a healthy lifestyle; research has shown that people tapping their own water drink up to 35 per cent more water than users of bottled water1. And Grohe Blue Home can even help save money, cutting a family’s drinking water costs by as much as 60 per cent compared to the prices of leading bottled water brands. Total carbon emissions are reduced by about 61 per cent compared to bottled water.

Grohe Blue Home's slim faucets feature an intuitive colour-lit touch activator and are available in chrome or SuperSteel as well as with three different spout types to match any sink and kitchen layout.

Besides the Duo version with two separate waterways for unfiltered and filtered water, Grohe also offers a Mono version to sit alongside an existing kitchen faucet.

Grohe Blue Home has garnered the Green Good Design Award 2017 and the Best of the Best Iconic Award: Interior Innovation 2017 as well as the Golden Award – “Best of the Best” in the Kitchen Innovation of the Year 2017 competition. – TradeArabia News Service
