Work to start on new 200-bed Qatar hospital

DOHA, November 5, 2017

Work will soon start on the construction of a 200-bed hospital near Doha Festival City on the outskirts of Qatari capital, said a report.

It will be a multi-speciality hospital and boast all major specialities and sub-specialities. The preliminary works for construction are over, including the drawing of the buildings, reported the Gulf Times, citing a top official.

"The building has been designed in such a way that it will have a lot of greenery, large waiting areas and all modern facilities," remarked its chairman and founder Dr Mohamed Abdulla Al Emadi.

There are also plans to set up a polyclinic in the northern part of Qatar, which is likely to be built somewhere near Al Khor sometime later, he added.
