DHA signs four agreements Access Abilities Expo

DUBAI, November 8, 2017

The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) signed four agreements that aim to provide early interventional, medical and rehabilitation services for people of determinations—especially children— at the Access Abilities Expo 2017 in Dubai, UAE.

The DHA signed the memorandums of agreement (MoUs) with the Child Early Intervention Medical Center, the Developing Child Center, Stepping Stones and Rife USA.

The MoUs aims to strengthen relations between the public and private sector to provide medical and rehabilitation services for people of determination and establish a strong patient network to provide early intervention services.

They also aim to strengthen partnerships to support and start early intervention for children and improve the way of living and achieve satisfaction for children and their parents by providing easy access to the required services.

Humaid Al Qutami, chairman of the Board and director general of the DHA signed the MoU, while Rabia Shahed signed the MoU on behalf of Rife USA, Sudha Heymani on behalf of Stepping Stones, Dalia Tabri on behalf of the Developing Child Center and Heba Shata from Child Early Intervention Medical Center.

Al Qutami said the authority strives to strengthen its relations with the public and private sector to broaden its services for people of determination.

He added that the authority is working on implementing the Dubai strategy for people of determination and commit to all its requirements not only through providing health services but also on focusing on rehabilitation and intervention for people with disabilities.

Dr Manal Taryam, CEO of Primary Health Sector at the authority said the MOUs aim to provide the best services for people of determination especially children adding that the four centres have the capabilities to support the authority’s objectives. – TradeArabia News Service
