Philips names Personal Health GM in Mideast, Turkey

DUBAI, April 3, 2019

Royal Philips, a global leader in health technology has appointed Milena Elmasoğlu as the new general manager of the company’s Personal Health business in the Middle East and Turkey.

Ozlem Fidanci, chief executive officer of Philips Middle East and Turkey said: “We are excited to welcome Milena Elmasoğlu to this important role to maintain and grow the business across the region. Elmasoğlu is well positioned to lead our Personal Health business, with a proven track record of growing the business coupled with great financial performance, increasing market share and driving innovation.

Elmasoğlu, has been working with the company for 21 years, and was instrumental in driving numerous successful projects in multiple markets.

Elmasoğlu said: “I am proud to be leading the Personal Health business across the Middle East and Turkey region.  The digital evolution has enabled consumers to become empowered and take greater control of their personal health and overall well-being.

After graduated from Marmara University in 1999, Elmasoğlu began her career at Philips. She quickly moved up the ranks and assumed several managerial roles across a number of functions such as marketing, new channel sales and services across the company’s Consumer Products Division.

In addition, Elmasoğlu held the positions of 6 Sigma international project manager, Philips Customer Services for the Middle East and Turkey region and commercial marketing director.  She was recently the general manager of Philips Personal Health in Turkey. – TradeArabia News Service
