Seha committed to matching UAE healthcare with international standards

ABU DHABI, December 16, 2019

Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (Seha), the largest healthcare network in the UAE, has advanced its mission to provide the community with world-class care by successfully implementing a health system based on the highest international standards and continuing to receive accreditation from global healthcare accreditation organisations, like the Joint Commission International (JCI).

Seha is one of the largest healthcare providers in the region, managing 13 hospitals and close to 45 primary health services, almost all of which have received JCI accreditation since 2006. Al Sila Hospital, which launched in 2015 and is situated in the western region of the UAE, is the latest facility managed by Seha to receive the JCI three-year accreditation. Other accredited Seha facilities, like Sheikh Khalifa Medical City ,and Al Mafraq Hospital, are gearing up to welcome the JCI surveyors back for re-accreditation in 2020 as they approach their three-year mark.

Celebrating the addition of Al Sila Hospital to Seha’s long list of internationally-recognised facilities and centres, Rashid Al Qubaisi, deputy CEO of Seha, said: “Building a safe, sustainable and cohesive community is one of the most important priorities to the government, under which falls the vital role of keeping citizens, residents and visitors healthy and well. We are wholly committed to bringing the world’s highest standards of healthcare to the UAE’s doorstep through the optimum accreditation of all our facilities.”
