Harley Street Medical Centre (HSMC), part of United Medical Enterprises Group (UME), has announced plans for a brand-new private healthcare facility within the world-famous Harley Street Medical Area (HSMA) in London, UK.
 
Based at 17 Harley Street, the specialist centre will provide agile, patient-centred care in exclusive surroundings. With sophisticated technology for the treatment and management of cardiovascular conditions and world-renowned consultants, HSMC will offer a wealth of expertise across cardiology, hypertension and respiratory medicine in one location.

Backed by significant investment in the latest technology, the standalone centre will benefit from state-of-the-art advanced diagnostics technology. Alongside echocardiography and other advanced technologies, diagnostics will include the Philips 3 Tesla Elition X MRI with compressed SENSE technology that reduces scan time while maintaining image quality, and GE’s RevolutionTM CT scanner capable of capturing the whole heart in a single beat.

Continuing the historic legacy at 17 Harley Street, the centre will also house a pioneering Autonomic Function Testing (AFT) laboratory; allowing a non-invasive means of testing whether the autonomic nervous system is correctly regulating cardiovascular control. This enables enhanced understanding of complex circulatory disorders; informing treatment options and significantly benefitting clinicians and their patients.

The new facility will offer patients an exclusive healthcare experience with seamless patient journeys and concierge support to enhance patients’ visits to the Harley Street Medical Area. Patients can be assured of an accurate and timely diagnosis with a focus on highly personalised care.
