SGH completes 300-bed facility in Dammam

DAMMAM (Saudi Arabia), February 27, 2020

Saudi German Hospitals (SGH) Group has announced its foray into the kingdom's Eastern Province with a 300-bed hospital in Dammam.

The Dammam hospital is the group's 11th facility in the region and comes in line with its strategic expansion plans for the kingdom and also the wider region, said a statement from SHG.

This comes as part of a much bigger project, the Batterjee Medical City which includes a medical college, housing and specialty hospitals, it stated.

It was inaugurated in the presence of Prince Saud Bin Nayef Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, Governor of the Eastern Province.

Speaking at the launch, Group President Makarem Sobhi Batterjee said: "We are proud to announce the opening of our first hospital in the Eastern Province, which affirms our commitment to reach to every patient in Saudi Arabia."

"The Dammam hospital is a state-of-the-art facility offering comfortable spaces for patients and visitors, equipped with the latest medical equipment and technology, he added.-TradeArabia News Service
