New chief for Al Ghazal Transport

Abu Dhabi National Hotels (ADNH), the parent company of Al Ghazal Transport, one of the UAE's leading hotel, tourism, transport, and catering groups, has announced the appointment of Brett Subritzky as director of Al Ghazal Transport.

Subritzky, who takes over with immediate effect, has been mandated with implementing best practices throughout Al Ghazal’s operations while ensuring employment practices enable the company to achieve world class operations in line with Abu Dhabi’s ‘Vision 2030”.

Welcoming Subritzky’s appointment at Al Ghazal Transport, Richard Riley, CEO of ADNH said: “We have identified certain functional areas of the business that need immediate improvement and Brett Subritzky’s experience will provide Al Ghazal with the leadership it needs to tackle these issues, setting industry benchmarks in service leadership and human resource practices.”

A New Zealander, most recently Subritzky was director of the Taxi and Limousine Business Unit at Qatar Transport Company notably making a direct contribution to the success of Qatar’s 2006 Asian Games.

He has more than 20 years experience in transportation management with the New Zealand Armed Forces, Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and Fibre Logistics Transportation.

Subritzky holds a Masters degree in Administrative Leadership from the University of New England in Australia. He also holds certificates in Education & Training and in Compliance & Regulatory Control from the New Zealand Qualifications Authority.

Al Ghazal, one of the largest transportation solutions providers in the UAE, employs a staff of more than 2300 across the country.

The company has a combined fleet strength of more than 2,500 vehicles and provides limousine services for VIPs, airport transfers, car rentals and operates intercity bus services and franchised taxi operations.-TradeArabia News Service
