APM Terminals Bahrain was awarded the ISO 9001:2008 certification by TŸV Nord for successfully implementing its quality management system.

APM Terminals chief executive officer Steen Davidsen said the milestone demonstrates the company's commitment to being a world-class port capable of providing cost efficient, reliable and time-bound services to all its local and international customers, in the safest and most environmentally friendly manner.

He said they aim to deliver the highest quality of service by focusing on customer requirements, working as an effective team and continuously improving processes in order to consistently achieve higher levels of performance. 'The ultimate goal is to ensure the highest possible level of customer satisfaction.'
