InfoVision conducts Doha training program

InfoVision Consultants and Doha Training Center recently conducted a Laboratory Management Systems ISO/IEC 17025 internal auditor training program in Doha.
The program covered the fundamental guidelines of the standard and ‘uncertainty measurement’ for senior professionals from various prestigious organisations and laboratories in Qatar.
Staff from leading companies such as Al Baraha Technical Laboratories, Teyseer Laboratories, Buzwair Scientific & Technical Gases, Geo Technical Group, International Technical Laboratory, Qatar Industrial Laboratories, Gulf Laboratories, Fugro Peninsular took part in the event.
The training program provided detailed guidance on the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025, the structuring of quality system documentation, implementation steps and laboratory accreditation requirements.
Devang Jhaveri, Infovision’s principal consultant and lead tutor for ISO 17025, in his keynote address spoke on the benefits of standardised operations.
Wilson Raviraj, managing director at Doha Training Centre, said: “Our aim is to support laboratories and companies operating in Qatar in creating sustainable and prosperous organisations by imparting the tools, knowledge and the expertise required to effectively manage and improve their laboratory management system.”
Infovision has conducted more than 70 courses on ISO/IEC 17025 and many laboratories have received ISO/IEC 17025 under Infovision’s project management in GCC including Saudi Aramco, Yanbu Refinery, Gulf Laboratory, NAP Laboratory, Riyadh Refinery, Al-Hoti, Q-Chem, Geotechnical lab, International Laboratory, Doha Technical Lab, Qatar Engineering Lab, Qatar Industrial Lab, Jeddah refinery laboratory, etc., said the statement.
Infovision has trained more than 10000 participants so far for ISO awareness and more than 400 participants for ISO 17025 certified internal auditor, it said. – TradeArabia News Service
