Gerab, Articmaster in marketing tie-up
Dubai, February 15, 2012
Gerab Energy Systems has formed an exclusive marketing tie-up with Articmaster, a US-based manufacturer, for the patented energy saving technology for HVAC and chillers, which enables up to 20 percent energy savings.
The new green technology can help in savings for all HVACs from 1 to 1000 tonnes, and also extends the life of the compressors with zero maintenance required.
Adnan Sharafi, director, Gerab Energy Systems, said: “Enhancing energy use efficiency is the cornerstone of the UAE’s vision for a ‘Green Economy for Sustainable Development,’ announced by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President & Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai.”
“With demand for power and water increasing, and the cost of delivering and using electricity also on the rise, it is important for customers – both residential and commercial – to focus on measures to optimise the energy use management,” Sharafi said.
“Gerab Energy Systems is focused on providing energy-saving products that have wide application. Air-conditioning accounts for a large portion of the electricity usage in the region, and by introducing to the UAE the patented and award-winning energy saving technology by Articmaster, we are confident of achieving greater energy efficiencies in the sector,” he added.
The newly introduced Articmaster heat exchanger optimizer won the ‘Innovation of the Year’ honour at the 2011 Excellence in Best Practices Awards by Frost & Sullivan.
“Articmaster’s line of products also helps in lowering carbon emissions, another key goal of the sustainable development strategy of the UAE. This will add a new dimension to the available energy saving technology in the region,” said Francy Joseph of Gerab Energy Systems, Dubai.
The portfolio of energy saving products by Gerab Energy also includes Ultra, Airconsaver and Voltis, all of which cater to industrial, commercial and residential users and help reduce energy consumption. – TradeArabia News Service
