3M hosts customer event in Dubai
Dubai, July 10, 2012
3M, a leader in research and development, recently organised an exclusive customer event in Dubai, aimed at providing key customers in the UAE direct interface with 3M global leadership.
The event, hosted by Hak Cheol Shin, 3M’s international vice president along with Irfan Malik, vice president, 3M Middle East & Africa, also witnessed 3M leadership hailing Middle East region as the next BRIC destination for the company with regards to fresh investments and geographical expansions.
3M top leadership’s visit marked the unveiling of global major’s expansion plans across wider Middle East and Africa including Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Iraq, Nigeria and Kenya.
“Middle East is one of the fastest growing geographies for 3M globally and we have outlined a compelling growth strategy for our company in this strategic region, which has embarked on a path of inspirational development across key industry sectors,’ said Malik.
“This exclusive customer event was indeed a great opportunity for Mr. H.C Shin to personally interact with our key customers in the UAE and get a sense of their business requirements and aspirations.
