Al Khobar, October 28, 2013

Alfalak Electronic Equipment & Supplies, a leading provider of technology-based end-to-end solutions, has ranked first in a safety assessment of various camps and accommodations undertaken by Saudi Aramco.

Saudi Aramco commended Alfalak for its compliance and strong implementation of the G.I. 298.010 Saudi Aramco Camp and Accommodation Safety Standards in its IT-related projects. Alfalak topped all the registered CE and TSD Saudi Aramco contractors covered by an evaluation conducted by a Saudi Aramco Team in July 2013.

The recognition came during the third CE & TSD Contractors Safety Meeting held at Saudi Aramco’s head office in September 2013 and manifests Alfalak’s unwavering commitment to safeguard and promote the welfare of its manpower which it considers its most important resource.

Ahmad Ashadawi, president and CEO of Alfalak, said: “Saudi Aramco’s recognition affirms Alfalak’s commitment towards the health and safety of its human resources. We have always considered our staff as an extended family and have thus undertaken strong measures to make living conditions in our camps and accommodations pleasant while in compliance with international best practices in health and safety.”

Saudi Aramco’s G.I. 298.010 policy provides guidelines for ensuring the safety and well-being of all company workers in their respective camps and accommodations. Alfalak’s compliance with its recommendations proves its full commitment to the health and safety of its employees involved in Aramco projects.

The company provides fire detection and protection facilities along with ample living and sleeping areas, fully equipped kitchens and dining rooms, adequate welfare, medical and sanitation facilities, safe electrical distribution and installation, and good housekeeping and pest control mechanisms. – TradeArabia News Service
