APM Terminals staff get Lean Six Sigma training

APM Terminals Bahrain, the operator of Khalifa bin Salman Port, recently completed the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training for its employees.  

Lean Six Sigma is a structured, problem-solving approach designed to help master techniques to improve process performance and consistency within an organization.

The training was conducted by Gerard Poolman, Abdelrahman Elshamy and Sarah Janati. Twenty-one employees from different departments attended the training which was held at Movenpick Hotel. The curriculum provided an expanded set of tools which further enhanced employee ability to deliver significant value to the company.  

As part of the improvement initiative, the Green Belt trainees were armed with a powerful set of problem solving tools that form, lead, and mentor teams on solving complex, high return projects, a statement said. - TradeArabia News Service
