UK's Brooks Forging eyes Gulf tie-ups

Dubai, June 24, 2014

UK-based Brooks Forgings, a manufacturer of metal forgings, fabrications and machined components for major construction and civil engineering projects including the Olympic Velodrome, aims to enter the Gulf region in a big way.

The company said it was now expanding its base in the Gulf and was seeking additional partners.

Steve Parker ICD, a specialist in creating and increasing profitable international sales and in international company development, is assisting the British group in the region.

"Brooks are one of the hidden gems of UK manufacturing. Their exceptional expertise and ability to make fabrications combining several processes, all in-house, means that they can be very competitive both on time and cost and can guarantee international standards," remarked Steve.

"We are looking forward to the challenges and solving new problems for clients throughout the Gulf," he added.

Brooks Forgings, established in 1960, is a leading British forge, manufacturing forged, machined and fabricated components. It primarily specialises in upset forging, drop forging, machining and fabrication.

Marketing manager Richard Lee said: “We are currently forging components between 10mm and 100mm diameter. As far as I know we are the only UK forge manufacturing hammerhead bolts up to M100 and 6 metres in length. These are exciting times.”

The company's on site facilities include, 16 hot forging cells, 16 CNC machining, tool making, Die sinking and Tensile/destructive testing.-Tradearabia News Service
