Kawam ... "Industry is growing, so too are challenges".

GES focuses on supply chain potentials, challenges

DUBAI, September 30, 2014

Globe Express Services (GES), a leading logistics service provider, discussed regional supply chain management potentials and challenges at a logistics summit in Dubai, UAE.

The Leaders in Logistics Summit 2014 took place at the Ritz Carlton, Dubai International Financial Centre.

Mustapha Kawam, managing director, Gulf, presented the company’s best practices and key industry insights before high-profile attendees as one the featured speakers of this year’s one-day conference.

He was part of a panel discussion held during the event as well along with other prominent logistics experts.

“The regional supply chain management industry is definitely growing, but so too are persistent issues and challenges. The efforts of all major players in the region must be consolidated in order to efficiently and effectively address concerns and other pressing matters,” said Kawam.

“The summit enables us to step back and take a closer look at recent industry developments. This allows us to discuss long-term solutions to current challenges and ways to create more opportunities. Moreover, it is an ideal place for us to further reinforce the position of Globe Express Services in the regional and global markets, highlight our comprehensive services and meet our potential and existing customers. Just like last year, today’s event was fruitful for both, us and the entire regional industry as well,” he said. - TradeArabia News Service
