BenQ unveils new tech at InfoComm

BenQ, a consumer electronics leader, revealed two new high-quality Large Venue Installation projectors and its first-ever 4K Ultra HD interactive display, at InfoComm the leading event for Pro AV professionals recently in Dubai, UAE.
 
The two projectors unveiled were the PU9730 and MW853UST. The PU9730 provides a breakthrough in high brightness and resolution with a brand new mechanical shutter while MW853UST provides a complete classroom interactive solution. This model offers superior connectivity with an ultra-short throw design and optional PointWrite interactivity.
 
Unveiled at InfoComm, BenQ’s first-ever 4K Ultra HD interactive display -the RP840G is 84-inches with six-touch point and loaded with feature-rich display providing multi-PC touch control via USB and EZCast for simple collaboration via Wi-Fi. It also has an intuitive teaching software bundle for classroom applications. This unique display comes with an equally unique DisplayNote application which enables presenters to control their BenQ IFP display and collaborate with participants in the room or off site, via cloud.  Features such as viewing audience devices on the IFP and two-way messaging between presenter and audience, make presentations made using DisplayNote truly collaborative.

With pioneering features such as innovative HD Connect connectivity and lens memory augment, the PU9730 boasts seven types of optical lenses, ranging from short-throw to long-throw. These lenses feature all-glass construction for ultra-clear focus and high aperture for brighter images which optimises projector performance in all venues. Moreover, PU9730 provides ultra-high brightness up to 7000 lumens and can be tilted vertically at any angle, allowing projection onto ceilings, walls, floors or angled signage in shopping centres, galleries, museums and theatres.
 
The MW853UST, on the other hand, leads the BenQ Smart Classroom concept by providing teachers with unique features to gain the attention of students and engage them. The latest PointWrite technology allows multiple students to contribute simultaneously with PointWrite pens or simply with fingers to the interactive whiteboard that can easily be set up in any classroom.
