Etisalat announced today the launch of its new Tier III Data Centre in Abu Dhabi, UAE, which will meet the region’s rapidly growing demand for advanced data and managed services.

The data centre will leverage the UAE’s strategic position as a dynamic business hub connecting the East to the West.

The new data centre in Abu Dhabi received the Uptime Institute Tier III Certification, which is testament of superior design and high availability.

The Uptime data centre tier standards are a standardised methodology used to determine availability in a facility.

The Tier III Data Centre has been built to serve the needs of regional businesses looking to host their mission-critical systems in a secure and highly available environment. The new data centre further bolsters Etisalat’s position in the region as a leader in hosting services.
