RAK FTZ to showcase at Jordan’s F&B expo
RAS AL KHAIMAH, October 21, 2014
Ras Al Khaimah Free Trade Zone (RAK FTZ) will showcase its tax-free business set-up solutions for companies in the food and beverage industry at an upcoming hospitality exhibition in Amman, Jordan.
The Horeca Jordan exhibition, a three-day trade fair for the food, beverage, and hospitality industries, opened today (October 21) at Grand Hyatt Hotel in Amman.
In addition to attending Horeca Jordan, RAK FTZ will hold seminars at Le Royal Hotels & Resorts in Amman, including a presentation on how to set up a profitable company at RAK FTZ. Those who attend the seminars and presentation will be able to participate in business-to-business meetings with RAK FTZ representatives.
“RAK FTZ invites investors at Horeca to visit our booth and learn about the ways in which we provide efficient and effective, tax-free business set-up solutions for aspiring entrepreneurs and international companies in the food and beverage industry that want to enter the thriving Middle East market,” said Peter Fort, CEO, RAK FTZ.
“In addition to affordability and flexibility, the free zone is also perfectly positioned for easy access to fast-growing global markets in the Middle East, Africa, Europe, and South Asia.”
“When global investors seek a location for international expansion or a regional hub, their research leads them to conclude that the UAE is the only credible destination for foreign direct investment in the region,” Fort said.
Within the UAE, Ras Al Khaimah has developed the highest level of industrialisation among the emirates, with manufacturing comprising 26 per cent of the GDP.
“Over the years, we have set up our business in many countries that have a great potential for our international growth, and the UAE is one of those countries,” said Elias Rached, Export Department regional director Sales MKN Middle East & Africa.
“It is politically and economically stable, and is geographically located in a region that gives us easy logistical access to markets across the Middle East, Africa, Europe and South Asia. Ras Al Khaimah Free Trade Zone provided us with the business facilities we needed here at a lower cost than we could find at free zones in other parts of the UAE, and their friendly customer-service representatives made it fast and easy for us to get our licence and visas.”
“Our clients benefit not only from fast-tracked visas and licensing, but also ongoing business support, including advertising, procurement, event management, recruitment and training assistance,” Fort said.
“Clients can also build labour accommodations on site, eliminating the need for labour transportation risks and costs. RAK FTZ also gives companies the freedom to source labour and materials globally. Business owners who have done their research recognise that RAK FTZ is the best investment destination in the Middle East to start and grow successful companies,” he concluded. – TradeArabia News Service
