More than 200 companieswill be present at the 26th edition of Jeddah International Trade Fair (JITF)

200 firms to attend Jeddah trade fair

JEDDAH, December 2, 2014

More than 200 companies from China, Egypt, Indonesia and India will be present at the 26th edition of Jeddah International Trade Fair (JITF) in December at the Jeddah International Exhibition and Convention Centre, Saudi Arabia.

The four-day exhibition will run from December 6 to 9, and will be organised by Al Harithy Company for Exhibitions (ACE). This will be done in collaboration with Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industries (JCCI).

JITF 2014 will showcase products like machinery, consumer goods, clothing, leather goods, fashion accessories, giftware and textiles, etc, according to Zahoor Siddique, vice president of ACE.

China will be the largest pavilion of occupying 2,000 sq m with a total of 150 companies. Egypt Pavilion will have 30 companies and the Indian one over 20. Individual companies will also be represented from other countries.

Siddique said: "It is an event that we at ACE ensure to develop year on year in line with our strategy to boost the tourism and the local trade industry."

Siddique added the Jeddah International Trade Fair is today considered by many to be a key fixture on the country's annual calendar of major events that are geared towards supporting the private sector and its pool of players which are growing exponentially with new and innovative ideas for business burgeoning continuously.
