Coretrax appoints global business development director

DUBAI, December 9, 2014

Coretrax, a leading engineered service for wellbore clean and abandonment, has appointed John Fraser as its global business development director to focus on the expansion of the company’s presence worldwide.

Fraser joined Coretrax in 2010 as business development manager and has recently been promoted to the newly-created position, said a statement.

He will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities within the oil and gas sector in the UK and overseas, with a particular focus on the Middle East region.

Coretrax offers a wide range of downhole tools and services with applications across the well life cycle, including tools for well bore clean-up and abandonment.

Kenny Murray, director and founder, said: “John has been an integral part of the Coretrax team for many years and this new position will allow him to focus on global commercial opportunities in particular within the Middle East, which is of real importance to our strategic growth plans.

“We have established an excellent reputation for innovative technological solutions and impeccable customer service and John’s comprehensive knowledge of completion and intervention tools places him as the ideal person to identify further opportunities to continue our strong year on year growth.”

Fraser has also been heavily involved in the design and introduction of new products both in the UK and overseas markets including the award-winning CX-IST (inflation support tool) which was developed to enhance the placement of a cement plug or a well barrier fluid. - TradeArabia News Service
