Castrol signs agreement with AlOdhaib

RIYADH, January 14, 2015

Castrol, the region’s leading provider of motor oil and lubricants, has announced the signing of an agreement with AlOdhaib Company, a distributer and service centre for Lexus and Toyota in the country, focusing on the supply of premium, synthetic Castrol lubricants and services.

The signing took place during a ceremony held at the Ritz Carlton hotel in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia,  recently in December, and had representatives from both companies present, including Haitham Badaoui, managing director of Castrol and Mosaed Mohamed AlOdhaib, chairman of the board of directors of AlOdhaib Company, said a company statement.

As a result of the exclusive agreement, AlOdhaib service centres and workshops all around Saudi Arabia will offer Castrol’s product portfolio of lubricants to its Lexus and Toyota customers, it added.

Lexus car owners can hand over their vehicle to one of the 23 AlOdhaib service centres across the country and benefit from a brand recommended by Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).

AlOdhaib will not only receive Castrol products, but will also benefit from Castrol training and efficiency solutions.

Haitham Badaoui, managing director of Castrol, said: “We are very pleased to announce this exclusive agreement with AlOdhaib Company, which holds a highly reputable position in customer service in the Saudi automotive market.”

“This exclusive agreement will allow Lexus and Toyota drivers around Saudi Arabia to take advantage of Castrol’s advanced products, which will provide reassurance on the road and give them a high level of protection, while enjoying a safer driving experience,” he added.

Badaoui said: “This agreement will also allow AlOdhaib Company to develop their human resources through a set of advanced solutions provided by Castrol, which will in turn improve the quality of services provided by their service centres for Toyota and Lexus owners around the country.”

Mosaed Mohamed AlOdhaib, chairman of the board of directors of AlOdhaib, said: “We are confident that this agreement will enhance our presence in the automotive market in Saudi Arabia, whereby we exclusively offer our unique services to our Lexus and Toyota clients.”

“Our commitment to our customers requires us to constantly develop and elevate our services and products to meet their needs,” he said.

“The great prestige enjoyed by the two companies within each of their fields has encouraged the signing of this agreement, in order to bring increasing value to our customers with globally acclaimed Castrol products, and offer them the best maintenance services in Saudi Arabia,” he added. – TradeArabia News Service
