Ericsson, a world leader in communications technology and services, is currently participating in the IBC-Content Everywhere Mena 2015 event, and showcasing its latest Tv and media solutions, in Dubai, UAE.

The event which began recently (January 20) will run until January 22, and is being held at the Madinat Jumeirah Arena.

At Ericsson’s stand in the event, visitors can explore the potential for media delivery and consumption in the Smart City future. The demonstrations will include the Ericsson MediaFirst solution, TV Compression technology, Broadcast Over LTE, and Media Delivery Network, said a company statement.

Rafiah Ibrahim, president of Ericsson, Middle East, said: “At Ericsson, we are re-imagining people’s lives in the Networked Society, through our Media Vision 2020.”

“Tv and media industry is being transformed through mobility and we are empowering this through our innovation.  Our aim is to support the industry players to deliver the advanced video and TV services that consumers desire,” she said.

Ericsson is enabling the transformation of the media industry with its suite of products that address the complete TV and media solution value chain.
